"Sometimes things do not go as planned. The new Misantronics album was meant to be a back-to-the-roots thing, something harsher and noisier than my previous releases on Sombre Soniks. It soon became clear that ‘Elsewhere’ was slowly turning into an exploration of Dark Jazz, Ambient and Downtempo electronics. Maybe it reflects the strange and frightening times we live in.

Maybe this is the jazz of the "new" twenties. Maybe this was merely an experiment, to see how far I could stretch the Misantronics sound. Maybe you will enjoy this. I hope you will."
