We komplete thee year with our first release from Anthony Cooley (DFFDL), a Drone Artist based in Australia!

From thee Artist:
"The release was recorded in 2017 at ant’s nest studio in the outskirts of Melbourne victoria. A big warehouse style space. This resulted In around 10 hours of reed organ/ms-20 drones which were wittled down over the next 8 months into a single 60 minute piece.

On the release you will hear me playing around with the phasing of 2 microphones that help to create unique sounds and movements around the reed organ. You’ll also hear the sound of a ms-20 synthesiser, which was played through a guitar amp that was wheeled around a microphone and also different points in the room.

These recordings were then mixed into a long form meditative piece, throughout which you’ll hear whispers placed through the record that I recorded at home; various chants in various languages that are relative to the process and mostly infer a solemn observation of motion"
